This week end, various teams around Africa are going to be in action in the caf champions league, six teams out of the original eight who were draw in the group stages would be in action this saturday , our champions enyimba, would be left out of the fixtures as they were initially drawn up against el setif of Algeria ,who were banned by caf for crowd control problems........

Fixtures
Al ahly(Egypt) vs wydad Casablanca (Morocco)

Al ahly would be looking forward to their first win in the group stages after two consecutive losses to zesco(zambia)and asec mimosa(code ivore)

The second game in group A is zesco(Zambia) vs asec mimosa( code ivore) both sides would be looking to claim the second position as wydad seat firmly at first having won both matches

While in group b mamelodi sundowns(south Africa) travel to Cairo with only one thing on their mind zamalek(Egypt ) must fall both sides sit on three points each as they both claimed victory against enyimba and a win would see any side climb up first

Hmm..... So both Al Ahly and Enyimba lost their first two matches. Lets see what they can do this weekend.

Am not sure what's the damage ES Setif did in that crowd trouble, but isn't it too harsh throwing them out of the competition?

it was radar to harsh to have thrown them out but then agn that just sets an example some fans can be fanatics at times.. enyimba is at the receiving end here as most will say that was 6 points lost

yeah true talk! That means qualification will be difficult for Enyimba.

hmm..... Sundowns have started well and are now poised to qualify to the semis. Since they are playing at home, I am backing them to further strengthen their lead in the group.

Surprising Al Ahly have lost 2/2 and are now in danger of missing out in the semis should they make it 3/3 losses this weekend. Al Ahly are still a super house in African Football. I think they should edge it against Wydad, becos they badly need the result but not without difficulties.

Verdict; Sundowns and Al Ahly.

lol.... I don't bet.

I think it's not a good result for Al Ahly. They only have 1 point now and must win the remaining games to stand any chance.

Too bad Al Ahly are going down this year in the CAF champions league.

Tomorrow's game should be interesting. I will back Sundowns still.
