Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation, was eventually released after more than two months in detention. According to his media adviser Jude Ndukwe, Fani-Kayode has been released on Friday evening. He is likely to travel from Lagos (where he was held in custody) to Abuja later tonight. “Yes, he’d confirmed to me that he’d been released. It’s still possible he might come to Abuja tonight if he’s able to,” Mr. Ndukwe said. Source: Naij.com
