Am asking this because i felt at least if one has the Holy Ghost baptism with the evidence of Speaking in tongues we are much empowered, perhaps more fortified as a Christian. Although i know not everyone believes in the holy Ghost Baptism but that's even another issue for another day. But this issue of Water Baptism bothers me so i just need a clear,better understanding.

What is the essence of Water Baptism? Is it necessary? Is it required to be saved? Will a man be raptured without water baptism? Am i not a true Christian without water baptism?

Water baptism is very necessary as a Christian. It is commanded in the Bible.

Well, I don't really know self. Maybe the water washes away the sin or something. Then we have to do it almost everyday because ne everyday we dey sin. In short, I don't know it's essence.
