You Will need to show example of what was returned after querying your DB. It is somehow difficult for someone to guess what you want to achieve without seeing what you are working on. |

There must be a column containing the "type" of fruits.
Make a select query for apples
use mysqli_num_rows() to view the number of apples inserted. |
