How time flies ! How I love the fact that I found this throwback picture of Prof. Jega in the Tell Magazine of July 14,1997! It is worth noting that not so much has changed in his appearance : the bespectacled Jega of 1997 is still the very man who chaired last year's presidential election 'behind his famous lenses'. Just that mark of uniqueness is what I find captivating here !

How many international awards has he won? Does anyone in Nigeria still give Jega the thumb for a job well done? It takes time but truth always surfaces. He rigged in favour of the North and APC, starting with the distribution of the PVCs. He turned a blind eye on manual accreditation that took place in Kano and other notable states as well as child voting. Only Obama, not America, recognises this clown of integrity otherwise, accolades would've been flooding his doorstep like the leader he removed. Now look where we find ourselves. If accountability is anything to go buy, this man should be probed by another party. He is a crook with a tinge of deceit as integrity. Same applies for the man currently occupying Aso Rock.
