The Plateau State Police Command has appointed Tyopev Terna, a graduate of English from the Benue State University Markurdi as it new spoke person.ASP Terna took over from Abuh Emmanuel, who was recently promoted to the rank of a Superintended in the Nigeria Police and posted to Police “C” Division in Jos, Jos North Local Government Area of the state as the Divisional Police Officer (DPO).Until his recent appointment, Tyopev Terna served in the command as Admin Officer in Laranto Division in Jos, Plateau State.


The new Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) told journalists in his Office at the Force Headquarters shortly after resuming office that he would ensure a cordial working relationship with journalists in the state.


He thanked the journalists for the cordial relationship accorded his predecessor and pleaded with them not to hesitate to knock at hisdoor when the need arise.
