Human Rights Activists (HRA) are well known around the world for fighting for justice for the common man and giving a voice to the voiceless, they played a role in making the United States of America a former racist haven into a more diversified and tolerant nation, they engineered the Arab spring and deposed nations like Egypt and Libya from oppression and dictatorship by their leaders(rulers).

Sadly in Nigeria, the HRA have lost their voice and priorities and now become a tool by politicians to hunt down their perceived enemies.

- We hear little or nothing about the missing Chibok girls (this was more laudable in previous years, but why the sudden silence or perhaps we have to wait for the next 'anniversery' to hear their voices again.

- We hear about the killing of innocent farmers and villagers by the Fulani herdsmen yet no Activist is putting pressure on the government to put a stop to this menace.

- We hear of the rights of the people trampled upon by the Police force that is supposed to protect its citizens.

- We hear of the destructions of government properties by the militants to crumble the economy but this is just the result of the inability of Human Rights Activists to inform and protest the neglect of the Niger Delta region.

- We hear of illegal detention of Nigerian citizens

- We hear of the killing of the Shiite Muslims but the protests were done abroad while our so called Human Rights Activists remain silent.

- We hear of the killing of an innocent woman killed in the early hours of the day for preaching in public.

- We hear of lopsided appointments.

- We hear of all this and many more but the only active protest is about a personal beef between Honorable Senators Remi Tinubu and Dina Malaye.

How on earth did the Human Rights Activists in Nigeria become so useless?

God help us.

When a person knows too much, they execute that person to prevent the information from going to the public. This is injustice, and God will judge the people involved in earth.

Useless indeed...

But the fact is that they were never activitist!
Its now very clear they were all hired by opposition to unseat the previous administration through propaganda, protest, Strikes and more. We were warned but we never listened.

Yes! They succeeded in fooling Nigerians but, not for long because the suffering face by Nigerians today as a result of this conspiracy is glaring and as such everyone is now asking serious questions...

I don't wanna talk about the roles of the Westerners and their hypocracy, Their cup is already filled to the brime.... SHAME ON YOU!

The truth is that the activist themselves are nigerian. Right now everybody is looking for how to feed. They are also feeling the hardship. Although majority of the activist I see these days are thieves, let's also ask ourselves where and how do these activist feed?

Nigeria never had genuine Human Rights Activists in the first place. All we had were just jobless haters, hypocrites and sycophants who were used by the opposition to drive home their campaign points.

We had touts and selfish individuals paid peanuts by desperate politicians to cause rancor and paint the then ruling party in bad light. They didn't do it for justice and fairness. Neither did they do it to make the government to sit up.

They were sponsored. They adopted different media and approaches. They protested against deregulation and subsidy removal against last regime, but didn't mute a word to the current administration. They have all being handsomely rewarded with juicy appointments and cash

Today, things are worse than they have ever being, from nose diving economic indices to flagrant abuse of federal character in appointment, impunity, contempt of court, silent support of rampaging fulani kinsmen, inappropriate or no action on pressing national issues, witch hunting of critics, insecurity on the increase, poverty and unemployment, suicidal economic policies, power sector in absolute comatose, illegal backdoor employment etc

Nigerians and double standards. Nepotism personified.
