Suspected members of the notorious kidnappers disturbing Cross River State has been arrested.

“The general public is aware that in recent days, Cross River State have witnessed spate of kidnapping incidents perpetrated by criminal elements in a bid to further their selfish pecuniary and/or criminal interests.

In furtherance of security measures initiated by governor Ben Ayade to checkmate this trend, series of special tactical operations were carried out by this Service, where successful arrests of masterminds of these criminal gangs were made by the Service, while their hide-outs will soon be decimated.

Findings by brainnewsng.com reveals that security has improved in Cross River State especially in the state capital, Calabar with the deployment of the Nigerian Army across its major towns after series of kidnapping, cultism, and indecent robbery across the state.
