By the way Op, most of the symbols you listed as long vowels are actually called diphthongs and not long vowels. I taught myself correct English pronunciation for 12 years, and I'm proud to say I've mastered it.

Chicks swoon when I speak English and always beg me to teach them. grin Moreover, I have a fantastic voice, so I literally make chicks h0rny when I call them on phone. wink

Yeah, your right about the diphthongs, and I'll get to that during the lecture. To me, it's a secondary classification. (Double symbols). Thanks for pointing it out.
