Germany International, Mario Gotze has rejoined Borussia Dortmund after a 3-year spell at Bayern Munich. This is according to a statement by Borussia Dortmund Chief Executive Officer, Hans-Joachim Watzke.
“I am personally very pleased that Mario has decided to return to Borussia Dortmund.

“I have since his departure in 2013, always hoped that he will one day return to us,” Watzke told the clubs website.

BVB Sporting Director Michael Zorc emphasised that “Mario is Dortmund born and bred, one of the best creative midfielders in Europe and still only 24 years old”.
