The fate of the residents of igbo olomu community area of ikorodu is still hanging in the air. The ugly incident that happened four weeks ago with many casualties majourly landlords in the area has not been resolved up till now. Although, mobile policemen has been deployed to ola imam and health center area of the community. However, the presence of those policemen has not alleviate the plight of the residents of the community because the perpetrators of the initial evil act that led to the death of over twenty residents of the community are still carrying out more evil acts such as rape, destruction of people's properties, looting etc. Nevertheless, the attitude of the policemen to the plight of the residents anytime their is a crime report is not encouraging. Their response is( we don't have the permission to leave where we are to go into the suburbs of the community).
Currently, the community is deserted and peace has not been restored because there are still cases of periodic night attacks and killing of the few ones that has the courage to stay back . We the residents of the community is pleading to Gov ambode, lagos state commissioner of police, inspector general of police to please come to our aid in the community because we dont have access to our our houses and properties.
