How are the mighty fallen. That I believe is the case for our much used (maybe not much loved) YAHOO. In it's 16 year life time, it has fallen from a peak value of above $100b, to what Verizon is buying off today for just $4.8b. This is after its four years mishandling in the hands of Marissa Mayer as the CEO. She will be stepping down and a combined severance package of about $219m waiting for her. Where YAHOO is headed after now is better imagined.
