As we all know that admission screening is on and many federal schools are demanding for some crucial documents in the screening some of which include: O'level result, original jamb slip, first school leaving certificate, birth certificate, certificate of state of origin or local government of origin and so on. So without wasting time we will give a list of how to get your certificates ready for screening

HOW TO GET BIRTH CERTIFICATE
Birth certificate: A birth certificate is a vital record that
documents the birth of a child. This credential is very important for screening, admission,employment, travelling and other purposes. The document is given to parents who allow the delivery of their child at registered hospitals. Students can get this document by asking their parents. However, there maybe cases of lost or unavailability due to the environment(substandard) where the child is given birth(this is common for students in developing nations), in this case the student can proceed to any law office and request for "certificate of declaration of age". This document is issued on a token processing fee of less than N1,000

HOW TO GET FIRST SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE (PRIMARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE)
The first school leaving certificate is a document issued to a student who has successfully completed his primary or elementary school. To get this certificate, a student is to proceed to his/her primary or elementary school and request for it. It usually cost some amount depending on the kind or school (private or public)

O'LEVEL CERTIFICATE
This is a certificate issued to a student who write and successfully completes any o'level examination be it internal(within school) or external(after school). This certificate may be WASSCE,SSCE,NECO,NECOGCE,NABTEB and so on. Most certificate as listed above are usually ready within the space of a year.
This certificate can be collected in the school (for internal) or in at WAEC office in your zone. Most times the certificate usually takes about a year and students whose waec certificate is not ready will be given statement of result which can be used pending when the certificate will be ready.

HOW TO GET CERTIFICATE OF STATE OF ORIGIN OR LOCAL GOVERNMENT OF ORIGIN
Usually students needs this certificate for identification.
Note: certificate of state of origin and local government of origin is not the same as certificate of state of resident. The certificate of state of origin or local government can be obtained from any state liaison office near you. To check a list of States liaison office in Lagos visit the address below
Other documents which may be demanded depending on the school include:
*Medical fitness report, advisable to get it from any government certified hospital
