WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS FROM DRINKING THIS WATER?

The benefits are numerous! Our bodies are made up of 70% to 80% water. Our 75 Trillion blood cells live, thrive, die, repair and receive nourishment throughout this medium. HOW IS THIS WATER MADE?

Kangen water® is produced from one of Enagic's® water ionizer machines.

Tap water is directed from your faucet to the machine through a water tube. Once the lever, that is attached to your faucet, is turned on, water begins to flow through the machine. The water is first filtered through the 3 phase filtering process, then passes across a series of platinum/titanium plated where it goes through the process of ionization.

This ionized water is now separated as Acid and Alkaline. The alkaline water or Kangen water® is produced and comes out of the top hose and the acid water is flowed out of a secondary hose that is released in the sink and down the drain.

ISN'T KANGEN WATER® THE SAME AS ALKALINE WATER?

Essentially, yes! However, it is high quality alkaline water that is able to stay in the unnatural state as negatively charged water for a longer period of time. Or, to put it another way, the Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) is able to hold on to this negative electrical charge for a longer period of time. WHAT ARE THE RISKS ASSOCIATED FROM DRINKING THIS WATER?

There are no know risks associated with drinking kangen water®. This water is completely safe. There is only one condition whereby someone should avoid this water. This condition is known as Alkalosis and is a condition of being too alkaline. Generally, this condition happens as a result of eating a high degree of raw vegetables and an excess of high alkaline foods. If your like most people, you are battling an acidic pH and need this water for your well being.

CAN I STILL DRINK THIS WATER IF I TAKE MEDICATION?

First off, we are not medical doctors and we do not and will not make medical claims on this website. With that said, If you take medication, then you should be drinking this water! The very fact that you are taking medication simply means that your body is not functioning properly.

Keep in mind, that drugs and pharmaceuticals only treat the symptoms of your disorder and will never heal you of anything. The best thing you can do is to treat the root cause of your ailment rather than the symptoms.

IS THIS TECHNOLOGY APPROVED BY THE FDA?

Alkaline water is not approved by the FDA for medical use. However, because The SD501 incorporates a saline solution to produce its Strong Acid Water, the FDA does regard Sodium Hydroxide (Strong Acid Water) as Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS). Also, the USDA has granted approval for application to food during processing and the EPA has approved (HOCL) for use on food contact surfaces in dairy and restaurant applications.

WHAT IS STRONG ALKALINE WATER USED FOR AND HOW IS IT MADE?

Strong Alkaline water is a very effective cleaning fluid. Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH), is Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) by the FDA, is what is produced by the kangen ionizer generator.

Through the process of electrolysis, Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) is created when the salt solution comes in contact with the electrolysis generator. The Na from the salt migrates to the negative side of the chamber while the Na ions combine with water molecules split during the electrolysis process to create NaOH.

WHAT IS LOW ACID WATER OR BEAUTY WATER USED FOR?

Beauty water has a pH of 5.5 and is ideal for the skin. This water can be used as a stringent for tightening the skin.

Additionally, this water is being used by floral specialist as they are seeing a dramatic decrease in labor as the manual change of water is less frequent. Also, the shelf life of the floral is extended by eliminating the bacterial contamination commonly present causing decay. It therefore increases the life of flowers by not allowing mold and bacteria to grow in the water. This bio buildup clogs the hydration channels in the stems of plants and flowers, thus decreasing the quality and life of the product, if not effectively treated.

WHAT IS STRONG ACID WATER?

Through the process of electrolysis, Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) is created when the salt solution comes in contact with the electrolysis chamber. The Cl from the sodium chloride (NaCl) migrates to the positive side of the chamber. The electrochemical process on the surface of the electrodes causes these Cl ions to combine with split water molecules to create HOCl. This solution is Acidic. In contrast, bleach is a Basic solution and only a portion of the active ingredient is in the HOCl form. This difference is why strong acid water is up to 80 times more effective as an antimicrobial than bleach.
