Linux/open Source Group...anyone Interested? by Gargoylesmiles(op): 9:01pm On Jul 27, 2016
Hi

So this me thinking there must be something Linux/Open source can offer to our dear country Nigeria if only a collective & patriotic few can come together to work on it.
Yes, i mean you reading right now!

Because if you saw this topic and opened it then you are interested...am not wrong right? Of cos am right!

So here is how am thinking about it (pls note am very open to suggestions as this is my first time doing anything like this, tired of my comfort zone smiley
- First we start catching up on IRC channels (IRC means Internet Relay Chat, its Yahoo Msger-like. Buzz me if want to now more)
- Linux/open source and non-Linux users are welcome.
- We can cover software and hardware!!
- As we grow bigger we can then schedule face to face meetings for those in one state (it depends)
- Then we storm Naija with our amazing projects. Who knows NITDA might be interested with working with us.

How about that for a start (or better put dream)? So lets keep talking and see how this goes.

Waiting for your response...
