Her majesty, Olori Wuraola-Zaynab Ogunwusi took to her Instagram wall to announce that herself and the Ooni of Ife, King Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II are the official royal Ambassadors for Hepatitis Advocacy in Nigeria.

World Hepatitis Day and the SHECA foundation in conjunction with NOhep have put together a series of events to promote screening, preventing and treatment of Hepatitis. The SHECA foundation, led by Princess Adepeju Hameed, is a non-profit organization dedicated to informing and sensitizing the public about the diseases as well as providing support for care. Hepatitis is manageable and curable if detected early and an appropriate action is taken. Other Goodwill Ambassadors include General Yakubu Gowon and Media personality, Latasha Ngwube, who kicked off the walk for Hepatitis July 28th in Ile-Ife, Nigeria to create awareness and give free screening and vaccines to the people in the rural area.
