With the growth of its relevance in national politics Ijaw has also grown to become a national nuisance and an irritant to society and mainstream politics. The institutionalized system of reparation established to reward and pacify Ijaw against sabotage of national assets should forthwith be reviewed to assesess its merit going forward and also measure the performance against successes in rehabilitation of the Ijaw people.

It is evident that the reparation is giving birth to more agitations against the sovereingty. One must ask if Nigeria, by funding the reparation program is not in fact funding terrorism against state.

We stand ready in the West to dismantle any and all programs, statutory or otherwise, in monetary handouts that fund terrorism or goes towards subsidies for peaceful contracts in Ijawland. Citizens must naturally follow lines of obligation statutorily defined as civic duties to the Nigerian nation. Any deviation, and one which call for a ethnic group to receive financial reward which is used to arm itself in advantage and brought into use to terrorize civil societies is not only wrong but tantamount to state sponsored militia and terrorism.

No more funding of Ijaw, ex militants or not!

They have become a nuisance in Niger Delta, silencing other ethnic voices with whom they cohabit, and are seeking to expand that nuisance beyond Niger Delta territory.

We rise and commit and uphold the Oduduwa principle and the Awolowo doctrine, to bring our might and influence to change the political future of Ijaw forever and kill off their political gain in all its aspects either locally in SS or anywhere in other regions.
