BlackBerry priv is an Android phone and supports whatsapp, only Passport is BB10 os. Meanwhile all BB10 and legacy BB devices will stop working with WhatsApp. Only recently launched BB devices running Android os will support whatsapp

i have tested a sideloaded apk from Playstore and it worked perfectly and even with hub notifications...
