It's not only stupid but laughable to say that foreign host are not reliable. I don't know whexpect to get why people will pay $3 for a hosting service and expect to get top notch service.

You can't offer unlimited bandwidth or unlimited email accounts on the cheap because bandwidth costs a lot of money.

Now, as regards running a regular web hosting business in Nigeria I won't advice that since no single ISP is reliable regardless of their claims. By reliable I mean 99% not even 99.99% and the customer service support of even the most popular ISPs don't measure up.

If I can get a reliable ISP I will run a successful web hosting business here in Nigeria and throw in a full 30 days inverter backup system to guarantee steady power supply.
