When your ancestors pass something down to you that was given them by their ancestors, then you are duty bound to pass thesame down to your descendants as well. You do not need to ever believe you are wiser than your ancestors. There are evidence all over that very advanced people were on Earth in the past. The Kemitic Egyptian pyramids are said to be alligned with the constellation of Orion and are visible from space even if not all, so they could have been used by star trekkers in the past as a kind of means of tracking the Earth while in deep outer space. We still do not know how the pyramids were built nor can we replicate it. Our level of technological advancement still falls short of that.

Among the Yoruba, a popular saying like 'Osupa laye' meaning 'the Earth is moonlike' clearly denotes someone looking upon the Earth the way we look upon the full moon, someone on an extra terrestrial platform like the Apollo team on the moon. The people who started that saying were star trekkers. Look at another saying 'Se ni aye nyi, eda kan nto lehin ni' meaning 'the Earth is spinning on its axis while humans are trudging along its surface.'. So, those are the facts in your face and I am not even an Awo. Those sayings are in the open and are not classified.

So, if Yoruba theology says in the past, advanced extraterrestrial humans led by Ogun Lakaaye landed on Earth as soon as land protruded out of the oceans and established the first human civilization called Ife from which all others sprang forth, I am strongly inclined to go by that simple explanation of human existence. What there is out there superior to that? If Yoruba says Earth is of Akamara, that is Aye Akamara, that a grain of sand became a basketful became a ton and etc, why should I not accept that simple explanation?.

However, nowadays, people have airs and so, ignorantly and arrogantly look down upon their own ancestors who from all indications were far more advanced than them. For instance the Yoruba speak an Egyptian language, so those who brought us the language could write in Aroko or hieroglyphics, later Arabic writing was known here as well but it was not encouraged and reading and writing did not become mainstream. How do you explain that? So, apparently, we have lost a lot. So, get off your high horse and stop thinking you are in a way more advanced than the earliest Ife Ooyelagbo people who founded the place when Ife oodaye was destroyed over ten thousand years ago.

More stories must be collated from Eastern Ghana to Igala and even the Yoruboid groups in Enugu. Such accounts will fill an encyclopaedia and all should be treated with respect as accounts of highly advanced ancient Ife peoples. For instance, the Ugbo salute themselves 'Ugbo omo atorunwo!' meaning 'Ugbo descendants of astronauts who landed on Earth from space'. And so on and so forth.

Our children must be taught that the current Ife which is Ife Ooni is the Ife Ooyelagbo descendant met by the British. Other places named after IFE includes Ife Ibinu (Benin city), Ife Emai, contracted to Afemai of Ora people, Ife Odan in Osun state, Ife Ijumu on Okun land, Ifeke on Idanre, Ifewara on Ijesa land, Mawufe in Benin republic, Amadzofe in Ghana, Ife Igala on Igala land, Ifetedo and etc. All those places are named after the original human civilization on Earth called Ife.

All cultural spheres should have their accounts and theology even if contradictory. So, the Yoruba or Ife peoples should guard what was passed down to them very jealously as it is invaluable and expository knowledge.
