there is a great Clan called Ohuhu in Abia state, they are located in Umuahia North Local govt.
Former Premier of Eastern Region, M.I Okpara is from OHUHU clan.
Former Justice of the Supreme court, Justice Ogbugu, Former ABSU VC, Prof. Ogbuagu, Former NDDC Chairman, Onyema Ugochukwu Etc are from Ohuhu.
Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is married by an Ohuhu man.
So Ohuhu is an Igbo sub-ethnic group.

The inability of Aba to live upto expectation can be blamed on the lack of business drive and creativity of the business drivers ,Sorry to Dee Sam and his generation whose drive helped lay a good foundation in Aba.

Ogah had it in his manifesto where he called it his mega dream. He had hope to use his influence and connection to drive in private investors. But all in all in future we believe

well, to contribute to this thread, few things that makes abia state outstanding :
1.Enyimba fc: is located in Aba and owned by abia state. it's the only club in Nigeria to have won CAF champions league. It is the only club in Nigeria that have won highest npl cup and other trophies. it is the most popular and successful club in Nigeria.Abia state can boast of it, others can't.
2.Abia State has ariaria int'l market, it's the 3rd largest market in Nigeria. aside ariaria, abia state has other markets that can beat the largest market in other states.
3.abia state is the state with the highest concentration of smes in Nig.
4.abia state has been consistent in maintaining 1st and 2nd position in Waec.
5.abia state is among the seven states with highest circulation of money according to cbn..
On the bad side of the coin however, abia state has been very unfortunate with bad leaders and followers. The fg too is not doing well in allocating federal projects and programmes to the state. Worst of all, you hardly see any federal infrastructure/social amenities in Aba except police station and prison
