The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, has approved the appointment of five new permanent secretaries in the state public service.

A statement by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mrs. Olabowale Ademola, explained that the appointments were in furtherance of the Ambode-led administration’s commitment towards strengthening the state public service to boost public service delivery.

Ademola named the new permanent secretaries as Mrs. Florence Oluwasuji, Permanent Secretary/Tutor General, Education District V; Dr Shamsideen Allison, Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Primary Health Care Board; Saliu Adeyemi, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of the Environment; Mr. Senayon Hundeyin, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs; and Mrs. Yetunde Odejayi, Permanent Secretary, Deputy Governor’s Office.

Ademola wished the new permanent secretaries a rewarding and impactful tenure.

“All public servants are enjoined to accord them the deserved recognition and support required in their newly assigned responsibilities,” the HoS added.
