The State should set up a pilot biogas project in Onitsha, collect biodegradable wastes from the market to serve as feedstock. The biogas generated should be connected to generators that will power street lights at night while the slurry generated will serve as an excellent organic fertilizer for farmers in the State. When a value is linked to what is hitherto seen as a menace the motivation to turn around spikes! The picture attached is powered by biogas. 2 Likes
