Can we have a discourse?

This write up is strictly for those who are concerned about the state of this nation as well as those who can see the religious coloration this current administration is taking on and are privy to the history of this country. If you are a a parent who wants your children to grow up in a safe and sane country. This is to you.

Should we be afraid of being Islamized?

Since the regime of Murtala Mohammed, there has been concerted effort to make this country an Islamic country. Subsequent governments have advanced that agenda in one form or the other except maybe during the second regime of Obasanjo even under the supposed Christian president Jonathan, that agenda was moved forward (by the way, the Jonathan administration wasn’t a Christian administration but purely a secular one but that is a story for another day).

The minds behind the agenda are pushing it not because of they love Islam but this people see the subjugation of the populace in the north and the absolute control those in power there exercise and they see the same in other Islamic countries and they want to extend that to the entire country. So it is all about political power, personal aggrandizement and for filthy lucre and that is why they would rather use political influence and military might to spread their brand of Islam than to use peaceful means to do so.

Now let me warn those who are currently in power and who desire and are working towards forcing Islam upon this country. Be careful, those who tried it in yester years paid with their lives and with the lives of their loved ones and I am assuring you that something worse than that will happen to you, You will be publicly disgraced and you will lose all that you have. To the peaceful muslim faithfuls who genuinely believe in the greatness of this nation, I would encourage you to work towards your liberty and do your own thinking. Don’t allow anyone to use you as cannon fodder for their personal ambitions no matter how religious it may seem.
