What Nigerian Drivers Should Have At The Back Of Their Mind by emmaak2(op): 11:17am On Aug 08, 2016
When driving the following speed limits, don't forget these hymns
1. *60km/ph* - it is well with my soul.

2. *80km/ph* - God will take care of me

3. *100km/ph* - Guide me o'thou oh great redeemer

4. *120km/ph* - Nearer my God to thee

5. *140km/ph* - This world is not my home

6. *160km/ph* - Lord I am coming home

So Op, you consider 120-140km/hr as speed? You probably haven't driven on Abuja - Lokoja route.

140km/hr is some people's cruising speed grin

I've observed that in Nigeria, accidents occurs mostly at weekends(Saturdays and Sundays). I've been with my mum at the accident and emergency section of a University teaching hospital and noticed that accident victims/casualties brought to the hospital were too much during weekends. So this is to advise you to be extra careful anytime you find yourself on the road especially at weekends. If you are driving, remember that accident don't kill... Speed kills. So DRIVE to ARRIVE ALIVE!
