Arrest of Abubakar Sidiq Usman

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC today arrested Mr. Abubakar Sidiq Usman, a blogger, for offences bordering on cyber stalking.

The suspect who is an online publisher was picked up at his Kubwa, Abuja home in the early hours of Monday August 8, 2016 by operatives of the EFCC and is currently being questioned over the alleged offence which contravenes sections of the Cyber Crime Act.

The suspect has already been offered administrative bail and would be released to his elected sureties.

O Lawd I've seen it all and I'm so happy seeing this. Cyber stalking now under EFCC jurisdiction? I don't really know the job of the police any more in this contraption called Nigeria.
DSS our SECRET police now arrest house members trying to impeach a corrupt governor and protect pipelines, the Army has taken over the work of the police as a normal Nigerian now prefers to go report a crime to them instead of the police and leading them to go attempt to disarm people who have taken self defense to heart resulting in unnecessary casualties on their side and many other things strange happenings.
Where did we get it wrong? Well I'm happy the guy affected is a Buharist and one of the supporters of the removal of the rule of law. I only wished they drilled him very well in that cell so next time someone shouts change, be would first ask what kinda change !!

This should serve as an example to others, especially the very lazy ones.

Proper Reasoning has deserted a lot of people especially the wailing zombies because of hatred for PMB.

We won't know the specific offence yet but cyber offences could be financial or economic in nature. We have to wait to find out.

President Buhari and Co. will do well to learn the rudiments of politics. You don't pick a fight with every 'perceived enemy'. I cannot comprehend the poor strategy Mr. President and his team have adopted towards dealing with dissent on various occasions. Crude and confrontational. These days even Hollywood offers strategy Mr. President's advisers will do well to learn:

the efcc accused him of stalking, so it's something in the region of assault and battery, guess it's as a result of his article on the efcc chairman, but I think he(efcc or magu) should have sent a petition to the responsible quarters. let's wait and see, but if it's just cyber stalking, I refuse to accept that the arrest is justified, it's more of a case of warning.
