Following famine crisis in the north-eastern part of Nigeria which is worst-hit be Boko Haram insurgency, thousands of terrorists are believed to be fleeing to Europe, security sources have revealed.

According to a report on Daily mail, thousands of Nigerian refugees indoctrinated in Boko Haram camps are heading to Europe’s shores to join forces with ISIS in Syria.

“Some trained suicide bombers and militants are heading for Europe while others are travelling to fight for Islamic State in Syria”

Those fleeing, according to the investigation, included some refugees, as young as 10, who have been trained as suicide bombers.

Corroborating the claims, intelligence sources report human traffickers from the ISIS-backed terror group are transporting girls and young men across the Sahara into Libya.

A source linked to Nigeria’s National Intelligence Agency was quoted as saying ‘They (Boko Haram terrorists) will soon start showing up on the Mediterranean’s shores,’

‘Some of these people are trained suicide bombers and fighters, including children as young as ten. They have all been indoctrinated by Boko Haram and they could soon turn up in Europe’s capitals,” the source said.

The report added that the food crisis has forced five children die an hour in IDP camps with 250,000 risking starvation despite aid paid by the UK to the tune of £860 million.

Meanwhile, the crisis is blamed on the instability in the Nigerian senate which is trying pass a motion to grant £215m in aid to tackle the emergency in the North-East.

It said President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration presses ‘politically motivated’ charges against the Senate President, Bukola Saraki [over false asset declaration] with Saraki accusing the administration of a ‘witchhunt’ after the president failed to get his own supporter into the powerful Senate President post last year.

“This case needs a swift conclusion for the country to unite and tackle the very serious issues of famine, security and a stumbling economy,’ a unnamed source told the Daily Mail.
