Two suspects, Monday Enuma and Ikechukwu Adibe [url]https://abiolaadetokunbo./2016/08/10/2-fake-drug-dealers-arraigned-in-abuja-high-court/have been[/url] arraigned by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on four and five-count charge respectively.
The suspects pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to them.
Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the court ordered that the two accused persons be remanded in prison custody after Barrister Umar Shamaki moved an application for their remand.

They were arrested for selling fake Augmentin, Syrum, Alabukun, Septrin and Ampiclox.

The offence according to the charge is contrary to section 1 (a) of the counterfeit and fake drug and unwholesome processed foods (miscellaneous provision) Act, Cap C34, LFN 2004 Act and punishable under section 3(1) of the same Act.
