I did some test today, including blood pressure and some other minor tests,then I decide to do the HIV test for the first time in my life , immediately doctor hear HIV Test, he started speaking in tongue (he started consoling me even before the test) , he was talking to me as if am already positive although I was a little bit worried and scared to the extent that I nearly quit it, but I take a courage, after the test,he then started telling me some stories before the arrival of the results,actually I was relief immediately I got my results
My Question is how often someone should go for another One?
And when last u check your HIV Status

oga, u need to check ur HIV status every three months. for example, a person can be tested negative this month and in the next three may be positive. the three month period is called window period.

Every 3 months

You know, ignorance is a disease. Yes! But in this context, many would really love to have that disease. Who wants to die from despair? The moment you check it and find out you're positive, that's the moment you die (emotionally) but then wait for your (physical) death.

But then it's good to know one's status so as not to keep sharing HIV to people like PDP is sharing money.

It takes courage, character and a great deal of inner strength to do that though. Never been an easy experience.

I checked mine last month. I was almost dead at the hospital, until I saw my result. Thank God. Nothing dey happen!

Lolx, just once,its twice. That ws 3months after I did the first one. But have refused to do it again cos, its not easy. I go just they sweat unnessecarly and I go they think of every bad tin I don touch and do.
Like one of my padi go talk, you don't have std untill you did the test. So abeg make I stay jeje and avoid every means of contacting it

I did the last test in December 2013 when I wanted to do operation for right inguino-scrotal hernia; BTW I don't need to do much tests since I don't usually put my priick inside vagna.

Loool. Your grammar and spelling sha. I wonder why they do that tho. You nearly av a coronary and then they give u ur test results. Your knees nearly collapse in relief. I hear its very important, the counselling part.

What matters most is your life style and the kind of job u do.
If u trust your life style and that of your partner including the job both of u do, u may not have need for barrages of checks.

Three months ago. I don't play 'Away matches' so no shaking about contacting HIV from sexual activities.
