The Minister of Education, Adama Adamu, revealed a week ago that the Federal Government will employ 1.3 million teachers in the following six years to address the deficiency of educators at the fundamental training level.

Talking at the Teacher Development Training Program of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) in Abuja, he clarified that beside the nature of educators, the administration is irritated about the deficiency of qualified instructors in the fundamental training division.

He said that the accessibility of capable teachers and their persistent preparing and retraining will be stressed to enhance fundamental instruction in the nation.

Aside from the intercession through UBEC, Adamu emphasized that the current administration will likewise enlist around 500,000 teachers for the fundamental training area across the country.

He clarified that when the activity is finished, the legislature will put more obligations on states and neighborhood boards to give infrastructural and instructional materials to the instructors.
