Sunderland are looking to capitalize on the massive clear out of young talent that is likely to take place at Manchester United following the arrival of new Manager Jose Mourinho, and former boss David Moyes has moved quickly to acquire the services of Paddy McNair and Donald Love for a virtual steal at just £5.5 million. 21 year old McNair, a Northern Ireland international, who impressed last season under Manager Louis van Gaal, made 27 appearances for United and even played at Euro 2016, but has been shown the door by Jose Mourinho, and has been picked up by Sunderland on a 4 year contract. Joining McNair at the Stadium of Light is another 21 year old defender in Donald Love, a versatile Scottish young international capable of playing at full back or in midfield. The duo are Sunderland's second and third signings under Moyes, after the former Everton and Manchester United Manager signed powerful Senegalese centre back Papy Djilobodji from Chelsea for £8 million. Speaking about his twin capture, Moyes said, "I want to add some young players to the squad as well as some senior players and both of them have got really good potential and the opportunity to improve. I want to bring in players who are here for the long term as well as the short and hopefully these two are here for the long term." Sunderland are also tipped to be plotting a move for Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj who is looking to leave the club this summer after a disappointing loan spell at Borussia Dortmund last year. The Belgian international, once tipped to be the next Ryan Giggs, is also on Mourinho's chopping block.
