Access to check result on waec website was denied frm arnd 11am on tuesday till early morning on wednesday. A reliable source frm waec office later disclosed that it became necessary for waec to filter out & withhold results of some students whose exam fees have not bn paid by some state governments. Most students frm state owned public secondary schools sat for 2016 may/june exam free of charge since d state govts pay. The results were witheld urgently becase students have started using them to pursue admission into higher institutions. pls go & recheck ur result to confirm whether u are affected.
