On August 14, the world heard of the passing away of Christian Hip Hop pioneer and Grammy award winning producer, Nelson Chu known as DJ Official after undergoing a double lung transplant. In 2010, it was discovered that Chu had a rare form of bone marrow cancer that was attacking his kidneys. He underwent a double lung transplant on July 30 and was in critical condition following the surgery. He leaves behind Teresa, his wife and two daughters. May he rest in peace.
