27-year old pregnant woman,
Cynthia Njoki self-ablaze over
her husband’s alleged extra-
marital affair.

Cynthia was reported to have
suffered burns on her hands,
thighs, face and abdomen while
attempting to commit suicide in
her home. She set herself ablaze
after her husband failed to reveal
where he spent the night on
Saturday, August 13.

The pregnant woman disclosed
that her husband, a mechanic,
failed to return home that night
and when he came on Sunday
evening, he kept on calling a
woman she suspected was having
an affair with him. In anger, she
went into their bedroom, poured
kerosene on her body and set
herself ablaze.
