The Building Entrepreneurs Today (BET) is a programme aimed at generating interest in entrepreneurship, support entrepreneurs in the country and create jobs. The BET programme kicked start in 2010 and ever since, business owners have been selected, trained and given grants to inject into their businesses.

The sixth edition of the BET programme is currently on, and you can be part of it if you have an innovative business that need funding. If you are into business in any of these 3 key sectors;
agriculture, health and education , then you are eligible to apply for BET 6.

Only 50 entrepreneurs will be selected from the numerous applications received and these entrepreneurs will undergo a six (6) months intensive entrepreneurial/business training by the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of the Pan Atlantic University, one of the partner organisations working with Diamond Bank on the BET programme. At the end of the training period, the top five (5) entrepreneurs will be awarded financial grants of three million naira (N3m) as seed capital for taking their business to the next level.

How to apply

Create and upload your 60 secs video. Fill your BET online application and include your YouTube link. Once you have successfully submitted your entry, get all your friends to vote.

Note : Only the top 300 entries will be contacted. You must have a fully functional business at least 3months in operations and have not attended any entrepreneurial Management program at EDC. Your business must have high growth potential.
