We all know Deejaying in Nigeria is a male dominated profession, but the last couple of years has seen women become a force to reckon with on the turn table.
Nowadays, there is the demand for more women on the wheels on steel because of their genuine talent, the representation for a large portion of the clubbing scene and exclusive beats.
These female DJs are explosive in so many ways and are turning the heat on wherever they go:

1. DJ Cuppy

Billionaire daughter, Florence Otedola aka DJ Cuppy hit the Music industry recently and she came out with a big bang after releasing her highly successful mixtape, ‘House Of Cuppy’. She once interned at Jay Z’s entertainment company Roc Nation INC and recently completed her Masters in Musicology at New York.

2. DJ Lambo

Olawunmi Okerayi, DJ Lambogini AKA DJ Lambo, is the eccentric haired official DJ of M.I Abaga. The tomboyish highly professional DJ is a regular face at top events in Lagos and beyond and has a great talent when it comes to Deejaying. She has also released banging Mixtapes and singles.

3. DJ Nana
Winner of the Airtel/Barcaddi Cool FM DJ Competition, Nanayat Abedoh aka DJ Nana is quickly becoming an underground queen everytime she works her magic on the turntables and has made her mark in the DJ industry. She has continued to grow in and has partnered with Omowunmi on an inspirational track called Know.

4. DJ Switch

Glo X-factor winner, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, DJ Switch, is an award winning DJ has had her own fair share of spinning the discs at top events. Her tunes have successfully creeped into the mainstream radio airwaves.
