Hello house and pilots around. Are there any governing body or NGOs that offer scholarships to Nigerians that want to pursue a career in aviation courses like PPL or CPL or related courses like flight dispatching?. Please help with invaluable information. It seems to be highly elusive here in Nigeria. Thanks house.

Keep your ears to the ground as such stuff are not usually advertised and make sure ya ears are really big like that of an elephant grin I was privately sponsored tho.

I wish I can say it was easy. I shared my experience here: https://www.nairaland.com/2966852/how-became-helicopter-pilot

There is no government agency that readily give scholarship for aviation training. Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) sponsored some pilots sometimes ago. I tried it but I didn't succeed. You can approach them and see. You can try NDDC. Check your State scholarship. Some states sponsor some pilots from time to time, you could be lucky.
