A mother has been brutally murdered by ritualists with her throat cut off after going to her cocoa farm alone.
Evil ritualists have brutally slaughtered a 35-year-old woman, Akosua Agyapomaa at her cocoa farm at Agogoso, near Kwadwo Nkwanta in the Adansi North District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

The throat of the mother of one was brutally cut by the unidentified assailants. Her body was discovered on Tuesday on the cocoa farm near a footpath that leads to Adansi Awona by local residents who alerted the police.

According to DailyGuide, Supt Yaw Obeng Asubonteng, Fomena District Police Commander, said the police would thoroughly investigate the matter to arrest the culprits.

The locals were stunned after discovering no blood at the scene as they alleged that her blood was used for rituals.
Explaining more, the woman's husband, Kwabena Mensah said he left the house at Agogoso around 9 pm to visit a friend, while Akosua Agyapomaa was preparing dinner for the family, but could not trace her upon his return.
He narrated that since the woman frequently visited her parents in the next village - Adansi Awona, he thought the deceased had gone there and never bothered to look for her.
Mr Mensah said he only got to known about the death of his wife when the Odikro, a sub-divisional chief broke the news to him.
No arrests have been made so far by the police.

The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the morgue of the Peace Land Hospital.
