On Thursday, September 17, 2009, over 400 militants of three militant groups in the creeks of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State renounced militancy and surrendered their arms to the team led by the Presidential Adviser to on Niger Delta, Mr. Timi Alaibe.
So far, over 7000 militants in the Niger Delta region are reported to have embraced the Federal Government amnesty package and surrendered their arms.  info is from open sources & not independently confirmed

Ateke Tom may submit arms, collects 3,000 forms:
Leader of Niger Delta Volunteer Force, Mr. Ateke Tom, may likely submit his arms and tap into the Federal Government amnesty programme. He was reported to have collected 3,000 amnesty forms for documentation for his followers and is likely to collect more forms.

Militant surrenders arms:
Barely 12 days to the end of the Federal Government’s amnesty to Niger Delta militants, One Douglas Otoloko said to be in his late 30’s who claimed to be a militant/human rights activist on Tuesday September 22, 2009 surrendered eight (cool arms and one hundred and ninety two (192) ammunitions to the Bayelsa State Chapter of the Presidential Amnesty Implementation Committee. The militant, claimed he had 70 boys operating with him in Diebu creek in the Southern Ijaw Local Government area of Bayelsa State.
