NAF SUCCESSFULLY TEST FIRES ANOTHER LOCALLY WEAPONIZED A-JET AIRCRAFT

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) successfully test fired another locally weaponized Alpha Jet aircraft acquired from overseas without weapon delivery capability. The latest feat makes the third Alpha Jet aircraft to be so reconfigured and weaponised locally. The NAF, at the heat of the Boko Haram insurgency, had acquired three Alpha Jets aircraft from private individuals in the United States however without combat capability. Subsequent efforts to use foreign vendors to re-militarise the aircraft proved abortive for several reasons. The challenge led the NAF to look inward for solution locally by assembling a team of engineers and technicians designated NAF “Technical Response Team (TRT)” comprising serving and retired NAF personnel, and civilians. The team, has since its inauguration, achieved tremendous successes that have greatly enhanced the operational capability of the NAF, especially with respect to the ongoing fight against the Boko Haram insurgency in the North East, as well as saved huge foreign exchange for the nation. One other major feat achieved with the latest reconfigured aircraft is its ability to fire rockets and bombs from both the East and West blocks.

I advice those testing federal patience to be careful.
Federal government can't show you all what they have, ask retired military personnel.

Jona and his looting and stealing gang bought used and non weaponized jets that can not fire bullets or drop bombs.. This is why the service chiefs under jona were buying mansions and luxuries all over the place while jona himself gave them national awards..

Weldone to the NAF, but is it worth the champagne in the 21st century?
Reconfiguring a decommissioned jet should at best be the work of cadets in training and not a feat of the country's airforce.
Biafra engineers militarised civilian aircrafts as far back as the sixties, I think we should expect more in this millennium.
Well, if this is the height of our NAF technical know-how then congrats to NAF

Bro enough of this. Our airforce will be taking delivery of JF 17 soon. And do not compare SU 35 and F35 to any African arsenal as no African country operates any of it.
