PDP Matters – The story of Ofioto finidon
 
This is the story of killing your source. As we all know the recent brouhaha that has taken over the PDP cannot lead anywhere but to the final down fall of the Party.  When this judgement came a few days ago many moved it very quickly on social media, believing that finally Senator Modu Sheriff had been shut down without considering the implications of it.

“Justice Ashi had in his judgment nullified the 2014 PDP Constitution amendment upon which Senator Sheriff is said to have been appointed as PDP Chairman.
 
The court described the amendment of the party’s constitution as illegal and a violation of the Electoral Act and, therefore, declared all actions carried out with the document including anybody parading himself or herself as officer of the party as illegal.”
 
It was this amendment which brought Adamu Mu'azu as the National Chairman of the party.
Now if this nullification holds any water, I am sure that we all know that illegality cannot produce legality. That in fact all processes which involved the PDP national chairman who was recipient of this amendment is illegal including the nomination of the candidates for the presidency, governors, national assembly members, etc who participated in the last election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
 


So please get ready to vacate your positions, so your runners up can replace you.

The Judgement of Justice Ashi is not applicable to Sheriff but to all electives officers of our great Party PDP.
