African Child Foundation International set to Honour Credible Africans for novelty, institutions and companies as the NGO host African Child Prize (ACP 2016).

In an interview with the Director communications West Africa of the Foundation over the weekend in Johannesburg South Africa, Prince Donaldson Onosakponome espoused the philosophy behind the establishment of African Child Prize (ACP) which he said that the sustained promotion of merit based on excellence are the key drivers to continuous innovations and inventions by the people and organizations, towards economic progress and advancement of humankind.

In the Michael Young sense, "Merit is equated with intelligence-plus-effort", which requires to be constantly recognized and rewarded for the sustenance and advancement of the African society.

He added thus meritocracy, which is consistent with egalitarianism, has thrived for many years in both the ancient and modern societies as the critical driving force behind economic and social progress as well as peace and security of nations of the world.

In that regard, ACP is a value-driven project of the African Child Foundation International for identifying, recognizing and rewarding citizens and friends, brands, products, individuals and organizations who put Africa first, for their demonstrated ability to innovate and invent for the social economic progress of the continent, and also for the promotion of excellence in the academic system.

Com. Onosakponome emphasized that positive images need to be showcased to stimulate the minds of our teeming youths. This mission has been the unequalled passion of The African Child Foundation International (NGO non-profit), partners in the African Union AU peace initiative, with a view of introducing a paradigm shift to the POSITIVE IMAGE OF AFRICA as against the negative reporting of the Western Media, which showcases the true face of Africa as having some of the best brains in the world, leveraging on the remarkable performances of Africans and institutions like yours, who have been sources of inspiration and motivation to our youths and children who constitute 72% of our population.

The African Child Prize laureates are notable Persons and organizations with extra ordinary achievements derived from their determination, tenacity, doggedness, patriotism and passion for excellence in a morally decaying society where youths choose alternatives to hard work as a means of wealth acquisition.

The nomination and voting process have raised noble men and women whom according to the NGO will be honoured on the 20th of October at the prestigious Kempinski Hotels in Gold Coast, Accra Ghana, West Africa.
