...in any sound economics nation of the world, price in the market of anything reach at by the bid between the seller and the buyer and that is what happened in the Forex market, but what happened in Nigeria market is that trader is the driver of the market, and the buyer is follow, follow, trader drag him to everywhere he like and deceived him of the word inflation! this must be stopped.
When price control by the seller, the price will be hike and the money value will be depreciated.
That's exactly what is happening to Naira in the market, the trader give price and force the buyer to pay!

I just made this comment in another thread predicting the kind of "automatic" powers and sweeping legislation Buhari wants the National Assembly to grant him in his clueless quest to fix the economy:

1. Criminalize holding of FOREX by Nigerians

2. Setting up of Price Control Agency to force traders to sell at govt approved prices

3. Reducing BTA of intending travelers

4. Total restriction of Naira based Credit/Debit cards use abroad and on the net.

5. Redomination of the Naira to hide the zimbabwe like deflation of the Naira

6. Criminalizing tax defaulters

7. Increasing income Tax, VAT and also introducing Petrol Tax and that daft TV/Radio liscence on a national level

8. Making Tinubu's Alpha-Beta Tax collection company a national consultancy and agent of the FIRS

These are the stupid things they want to introduce through legislation.

...you can only be foolish to open your pocket for any trader to take what he want for it's goods, trader is made to make much, much profits. trader no matter how sincere he may be, he will try to cheat consumer! so he hike product price and render money valueless!
