Federal Road Safety Commission FRSC is the lead Agency in Nigeria on safety administration and management.

The Agency which has set the new road map for festive period in Anambra State for motorist says it's is ready to collaborate effectively with Anambra Government to ensure road safety on State roads.

Speaking at the scene of event, the venue for sensitization and operations yesterday at Awka, State capital, Mr Sunday Ajayi; the Sector Command expresses satisfaction from the support and working relationship from Anambra Government.

While eulogizing State Government, he therefore call for attitudinal change over the reckless life style of most motorists as we approach festive period. He pledges the support of the team in ensuring that those who uses multi numbers of over-head lamp which causes over illumination shall not only be apprehended, but would also be brought to justice accordingly.

Ajayi while citing cases of accidents recorded in the State recently especially in the night, maintains that most of the occurred accidents were due to the use of multi-over head lamp or either non-use of over head lamp by motorist in the State.

Expressing his team readiness to ensure Zero-Road-Accident in the on-coming months, he called on the general public, road users and motorist to apply caution and adhere to the rules of road users. He urges all the participants yesterday to contribute immensely in ensuring safety of the road.
