I can't believe Siasia coached this team. It's a far cry from what he usually delivers. The team administration should be probed |

lalaboi: Yes, I checked. It exists. The only problem is that I only saw the part where the referee blow the final whistle, so it was not of much help. This is one of the reasons my plan is to leave this bloody country. This is the kind of match I want to be watching not some stupid Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal or whatever. Which one concern me with those? |

sammytb: From little research, I think Nigeria may have squeaked through, but it depends on many factors from competition from groups E and F ---> Current standings: Nigeria - 3 games - 3 points (+2 goals) Costa Rica - 2 games - 3 points (-2 goals) Hondyras - 2 games - 3 points (+2 goals) Hungary - 2 games - 3 points (+1 goals) South Africa - 2 games - 1 point (-4 goals) - Unlikely to recover in 3rd game Seems to me depends on next matches for Costa Rica, Honduras, Hungary since only 1 out of these countries and Naija, will go forward. |

we had bad luck against the other two teams, the players did more than average, at least far more comfortable on the ball than our super chickens, something must still be wrong with the strikers, though i didn't watch but throwin away close to twenty chances against ten men is had to understand, i hope they go through, the next round will tell if they deserve to be in the competition. |

Akwasi: says who?? look at the rest of the games in the other group then you see they have a good chance of making it through. after that we will see who is the fool here |
Re: Nigeria Vs Tahiti (5-0) Thursday 1 October 2009 by slimes(m): 8:10pm On Oct 01, 2009 |
The goals doesn't mean we played any good. Our boys had chances, more than 28 attempts but less than 15 shots at goal. They tried but their overall performance is a far cry from what is expected. |

keta11: If Hungary draw against UAE, SA win over Honduras, Honduras draw vs SA, or Costa Rica draw vs Czech, Nigeria will go home. |
