I am currently in the uk and i have a daughter with a British citizen. My problem is that i have been here for so long illegally, I can say the immigration do not have any records of me being in the country. Right now i and my partner have the intention of getting married, My daughter is going to be 2years old. My partner is an Asian Muslim  and we have done the Nikai(Muslim marriage), My Lastname reflects on my daughters birth Certificate. I and My partner are very worried about this issue because we do not know where to start from. I have been advised by some people to go to Nigeria with her and get married and then file for the spouses visa. with the current state of things i do not think i stand a chance in this regard. she is working full time as a single parent, claiming child,working tax credit and what have you and she has good account balance to demonstrate i can be catered for if given the visa.

Guys! I know this is a tricky one. Please advise. Please be honest and do not judge me because we all know the state of things in Nigeria. I am still seeking a greener pasture.
