Salary range: Starts at N40,000 - 70,000 monthly ( based on performance on the job)

Job Description:
A rich cultured restaurant/ Cafe is seeking a highly motivated and hardworking social media specialist to join its team , attract , retain and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users as well as customers on site.
Applicants must have a verifiable history of high performance, creativity and good work ethics. The restaurant/ Cafe highly regards and rewards staff for taking initiative, hard work, excellent customer service, creativity , team work and collaboration .
The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, online traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing road map among other approaches.

Responsibilities:
• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging , audience identification and other modes of interaction

• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and engages social media audience

• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content

• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each online community where applicable

• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules

• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

• Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

• Create and manage on-site and destination events

Skill / basic qualifications required
• Proven work experience in social media or related field
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience. Social analytics tools knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of web design & development and SEO is a plus
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Very outgoing/extrovert , Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Fluency in English
• BS in Communications, Marketing, Business administration , Mass Communication or Public Relations is a plus
• Ability to work effectively with teams
• Must be creative and a good problem solver
• Ability to pay attention to details and strictly follow instructions
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
• High passion for learning new things, fast learner and ability to work with minimum supervision
• Must be very proactive and a fast thinker
