The Igbo man that actually assembles and MANUFACTURES cannot find dollar for factors of production but Muslim tourists can buy at 197 and Sanusi says people are making 1 billion from their gardens with a phone call. Oya clap for those who voted Buhari. kpa kpa kpa theirsef!!! It is a sad development indeed that the first and only indigenous car manufacturer in Nigeria is having trouble acquiring dollars for core manufacture purchase and may be face with suspended activity on his plant 2 Likes |

Buhari has succeeded in reversing all meaningful progress Nigeria made in the past 30yrs, including the automobile policy. The other day Kemi Adeosun was talking about reducing tarrifs on tokunboh vehicles thereby killing the local automobile industry. Buhari is a disaster. |

Some people don't know how big Innoson is. They think that it is just making cars, they make motorcycles and other mechanical parts too. They won't close down, but the might scale back production. However, there are many businesses and business men currently suffering as a result of the bad situation in the forex market. |

If the government is not buying those cars at listed price then it must sell dollar to Innoson @N100:$1 for him to be able to import and sell at reasonable price Competition does not help the economy subsidies does, just as in the fuel and kerosine. Just kidding I thought the claim was that the vehicles are made in Nigeria so they should be immuned to the exchange rate since it will only affect the minute foreign content of their vehicles. |
