You should ask for refund from your school.
What hell did they teach you?

Study the graph below. Maybe the visual will help your undersized brain.

Don't even argue with me on facts .. I all the time knows what I'm say.

From your treasury, he planned to borrow 864 billion but 9 months into it, he has done 800 billion...
Before the year ends, they expect him to add 100 billion more and this whole borrowing scheme is a disaster.

Kenya more than ever needs to cut it coat according to it size.

keep screaming noise

What you see on your chart is just borrowing done for months which was part of the reason why they sent a supplementary budget for approval.
That 3 months borrowing was what they used for govt profligacy.
As you can see 351 billion on profligacy...

It wasn't even enough so they sent a second supplementary budget.

Now looping.
Yes, it not sustainable, that is why we are taking steps to fix it.
We have next year 2023/2024 - at 1.4/1.5trillion with Eurobond principal of 2.5B maturing.
Then we are done...we project our debt services will then drop back to sustainable level.
We get balanced recurrent budget surplus for first time in years.

Your govt debt repayment will Keep getting worse untill after 2030 before it starts dropping. I wish it could be fixed by just snapping a finger and an additional 1.5 trillion kshs will appear to save Kenya

Kenya will default on additional debt before June 2023 because workers will not accept going 6 months more without a salary.

They'll force the govt to default

Kenya was ranked alongside CΓ΄te d’Ivoire, and DRC , whose economic growth remained resilient amid multiple global shocks.

The rest of Africa still reeling from economic meltdown.

The April 2023 World Bank Africa’s Pulse report ranked Kenya among the top-performing economies in Africa despite an uneven economic recovery experienced across the continent.

I'm more worried for Kenya at this point because the global media will be using your hungry faces around the world to defame black people all over to the point where even filthy indians want to disrespect Africans...
πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

A filthy indian in my sis class in Germany wanted to disrespect her African friends and she address her and her poor country from head to toe.

Just like India, Kenya will remain under the toes of Ghana.
Both zoos ain't worthy to shine Ghana's shoes.

You'll not be able to finance your budget for the next 10 years like I told you earlier.. or have you missed the part where the Kenyan treasury told you that debt servicing was rising at 21%?

"According to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, some government loans matured last week, forcing the government to pay the debt, leaving the government with no money to pay civil servants.

β€œIt is true we are having challenges in paying salaries, giving money to governors. Because the handshake gov’t ripped this country, they borrowed money left right and centre. Because we are a responsible government, we have to pay this money,” he said.Β

β€œWhat we collected the last two weeks was sufficient to pay the loans. What we are collecting this week will pay salaries and other requirements,” he added

Your mumu never do, if cote d'ivoire was having such a fantastic economic development, they will not join Ghana right now seeking an IMF bailout . Right now , cote d'ivoire is seeking a 3.5 billion dollars IMF bail out.

Ghana has set a good precedence of managing debt and convincing investors to do business despite huge debt for many african nation , if we succeed by bringing paris club and china to reasonable understanding and paving reasonable way to secured the imf loan which is almost assured we are going to be emulated.

Many indebted nation in africa will follow us . There is evidence., Cote d'ivoire has already follow us. Economy growth ain't Ghana problem. Our problem is simple, we are growing the economy at a length that is not in tandem with population growth hence the debt crunch.( Because we have to keep pace with infrastructure and social development) we should be doing double digits growth like earlier 2010 or better still a reasonable 8 to 9 percent for 10 years if possible concurrently).

Anyway we are surviving with the little growth . Kenya can keep defaulting salary payment . We will not fall into such pit.

Small country syndrome of trying to lead even in bad manners
Zambia was first to default in 2020
Followed by Ethiopia, Chad and Mali.
Ghana is the 5th.
Zambia has yet to nail a debt restructure.
Dont thinK external creditors are falling over their feets to forgive you debt.

Many of them know it's not a decade when they forgave Ghana and Nigeria billions of debts.
You LEARNT NOTHING from all the last decade of debt forgiviness.
Youre back again to Paris Club of Creditors - broke as always.

Dont think they are local investors - who have to take or leave deal.

These are powerful nations who will make sure you will pay through your nose or likely a.rs.e.
Prepare to give them gold, oil, diamond, cocoa and even your naked butt LGBT.

Youll become the first west african country to pass pro-LGBT law so you can nail a IMF deal smiley smiley - and then you better start oiling your orifice - because the SHAFTING is coming

Why dont you search - Zoogeria - advising Kenya is 8th wonder of the world. You've been literally been printing money. It worse than Uhuru did - which was to borrow money.

1) 2021 -DUE to persistent fiscal slippage, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) overdraft extended to the Nigerian Government increased to N13.11 trillion at the end of the fiscal year 2020, Cordros Capital said in a research report.

2) 2023 - Buhari has printed 30 times what Jonathan did smiley smiley . When you asked for an overdraft from your central banker - you're printing MONEY - because central bank doesnt have money but can create money for you.

A $50 Billion Overdraft Is Set to Become Nigeria’s Debt
Such borrowing has exploded 30-fold under President Buhari

Acceptance would add about 50% to official public debt

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-01-17/a-50-billion-overdraft-is-set-to-become-nigeria-s-debt

We are not the ones owing federal civil servants their salaries. That's broke ass Kenya.

Countries don't just print money, they do so if money velocity in the country can dissipate the burden. Nigeria's GDP is large meaning money velocity here is high, there is a lot of financial transactions going on here than in places like Kenya. That's why we are not as indebted as Kenya and that's why despite carrying out infrastructural development at a pace faster than Kenya we can still service our debt and pay federal civil servants and our state civil servants, a luxury in Kenya where many workers have not been paid for up to five months.

Kenya today is where some of our states used to be five years ago. We knew you were borrowing to pay salaries, I personally posted facts to that effect on the other thread and did a clinical analysis of your whole economy four years ago. You all attacked me then, especially you and kikuyu1 of blessed memory. Now, the facts have become tangible and are coming out of the wall to eat you up. Kenya is inconsequential and broke. You borrowed beyond your economic power to compete with Africa's big boys. You are in the mud already.

Now the problem is that the inexperienced and hothead Ruto will try to salvage the situation the wrong way and will only succeed in digging little India into bigger problems. Watch this space, I'll remind you about it sooner than you think.

You overdosed codeine.
Buhari has been in power for 8hrs and has raked up 50B dollars in overdraft from Central Bank of Nigeria
That money remain unpaid - you need to recognized them as debt - that will increase your debt - forget fake GDP.
Nigeria debt servicing ration already exceed 100%.
Meaning youre paying salaries by asking for overdraft from CBN.
There is no infrastracture getting built - except by likes of Dangotes - who you have allowed to literally build their roads.
You have serious inflation that is generating poverty.
Let not talk about Naira - blackmarket is edging towards 800 Naira to a dollar.

And you seriously want to compare yourself with Kenya.
A country that is on autopilot of economic growth - that even on the worse year - will grow 6%.
Which in 20yrs has grown it GDP from 12B to now 120B!!!!!

Dont waste time comparing with yourself with Kenya.
Kenya is about to take off !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a little debt problem that is one year from disappearing.
All the other indicators are solid.
Budget deficit coming down to less than 4%
Even at our worse - inflation is single digit - at 9%
USD depreciation is one best in Africa - way less than even South Africa - leave alone Nigeria

Ruto is fixing the country fundamentals in ways last done by Kibaki.
Ruto is not young - he has been close to power since he was 24yrs.

Combination of Dr William Ruto and Dr David Ndii - mean kenya transformation is taking off.

The guy leading Ruto team - Dr David Ndii - was one of architect of Kenya economy recovery in 2003 - that has sustained Kenya until recently.
As long as we listen to Dr Ndii - we will be fine.

David Ndii (born in Kiambu, Kenya) is an economist, a columnist, and an author. The Telegraph has described him as "one of Africa's best known economists and an outspoken anti-corruption crusader".[1]
He is a Rhodes scholar at Oxford University and an Eisenhower Fellow.[2] Ndii holds a doctorate and master's degrees in economics from Oxford, masters and bachelor's degrees from the University of Nairobi.
Ndii has previously served as an economic advisor to the Government of Rwanda and led the NARC Economic Recovery Strategy (ERS) taskforce which was widely credited with the post-2003 economic recovery in Kenya. He cofounded Kenya's first independent policy think tank, the Institute of Economic Affairs, together with Prof. Anyang' Nyong'o.

Nigeria - until you remove a goat like Buhari - and international drug trafficking convict like Tinubu - and invite the caliber of WTO director general leader Dr Okonjo-Iweala to lead Nigeria you're going nowhere.

Dr Okonjo-Iweala - last time helped Nigeria clean up it's 35B debt problem using her brains - and fixed banking - the one of the few sector functioning in Nigeria now.

Go round the world - invite the gazillion of brilliant Nigerians - let them run your gov for 10yrs - Nigeria will THRIVE

In Kenya we respect professionals and intellectuals. BRAINS beat all oil. That is why Western Nations and Asians/Chinese run the world.

This Ruto today praising Ndii team for nailing 4.5B dollars Oil deal with Saudi & UAE - if we didnt have it - we would be in serious trouble.

President Ruto: My economic advisors (David Ndii, Mohamed Hassan and Davis Chirchir) have done something phenomenal; they have managed to put together a programme that has taken us away from looking for $500M every month to buy our fuel needs... today we can buy fuel in KES.

You only hit a wall if you cannot grow revenues or gdp as fast as your debt.
Ghana hit the wall when despite trying all trick (mobile money tax) - revenues just didnt grow - as the economy was ailing
Then you become insolvent or bankrupt

Yes from 2018 - Uhuru should have gone slow - as we started to gross 50%.
I told him many times here to go into debt refinancing - and stop overleveraging.
He of course didnt listen - became a drunkard who kept company of school dropouts.

The good thing - Kenya economy is growing
Kenya revenues are growing

So debt just disappear with GDP growth.

For Ghana and Nigeria - debt is not disappearing - because GDP growth is less than even pop growth.

For kenya it question of SYNCINg economic growth with debt growth - we went out of syncing from 2017/2018 - and we need to dial it down.

Yes we will not be afraid to take drastic action including salary cuts of civil servants
Or retrenching
or cutting development.

To get back on track after our derailment - sacrifices must be made - otherwise we become like Ghana - a stupid child just walking to innocently to IMF and western arms for 10yrs.

First Dr Iweala as Minister of Finance was Soludo boss as CBN.
The minister set directions - CBN as independent as he can be - is junior to Minister of Finance.
He execute gov policy.
Nigeria banks were suffering from systemic risk due to debt overhang.
Just like now.
If Nigeria default - your banks will collapse like dominos.

Soludo is just a bitter lowlife proffesor in Nigeria.

HE CAN NEVER WASH Dr Iweala shoes.

Dr Iweala CV and achievements is TRULY IMPRESSIVE. Only a stupid Nigerian would dare question her credentials.

No wonder she has decided to become an American.

If she ever getting tired working for WTO - I would advice Ruto to run and pick her up as his advisor.

You are obviously insane. So have your debts disappeared with your fake GDP growth? Your revenue is about to shrink unless you overburden poor little Indians with taxation. You have $75bn already which is bad for a country with a GDP less than$100bn. You better tighten your seatbelt, the ride is going to be rough.

You cannot become like Ghana.. my finance minister is too smart than anything in Kenya. Though I don't like him

The guy is been running trading desks on Wall Street for too long so he understands the debt market.

The best thing Kenya can be is Sri Lanka

Mkenya2019:

It doesn't work that way. Minister of finance is no boss of the CBN manager.
I know you are playing though but Okonjo Iweala had nothing to do with Banks no matter how much your love for her is. These are just facts not emotions.
