"Suddenly my career has undergone a change, and I took it as a sign of destiny and I had to do something.

"Italian goalkeeping is recognised throughout the world, so I am convinced I can still learn a lot here," were the words of Three Lions and former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart upon signing on a season long with Sinisa Mihajlovic's Torino.

Considered not good enough with his feet and ball distribution, Hart found himself as third choice behind the likes of Chilean Raul Bravo who was signed from Barcelona and Argentine Willy Cabalero. Although Torino at present cannot be compared with Manchester City, Hart must be applauded for seeking a move that will progress his career instead of choosing to sulk at City and blame everyone else for his plight.

Last season, Torino ended up in Seria A's top half and are on course to improve judging from the appointment of Serbian and former Fiorentina and -AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic and also the signing of players like Hart, former Roma and Fiorentina's attacking midfielder Adem Ljajic and Mirko Valdifiori from Napoli, although the Turin based side lost their two solid centre backs in Polish Glik (Monaco) and Serbian Nikola Maksimovic (Napoli).

The former Shrewsbury goalkeeper joined Torino after the club's assistant coach Attilio Lombardo convinced him to make the move to Italy . The duo worked together at City as Lombardo was Roberto Mancini's assistant at the club. The former Shrewsbury Town shot-stopper will replace Daniele Padelli in goal after the Italian failed to impress Mihajlovic . Hart might not be good with the ball on his feet or as a sweeper but that does little to stain his record of amassing over 100 clean sheets in over 266 Premier League games in City. The English man has won the most record for the Premier League Golden Glove Awards (four) since making his loan Premier League debut with Birmingham in 2009. The goalkeeper has also earned 63 caps for England, winning the FA Cup and League Cup in 2011 and 2014 coupled with his Premier League trophy in 2012 and 2014. In moving to Torino, the Birmingham born goal keeper becomes the first English goalkeeper to play in the Italian Seria A since the League's inception in 1992.

Hart will compete with Italian no.1 and Juventus legend Luigi Buffon as the City's (Turin) no.1 goalkeeper, having made the move to the Italian City less than a year after Buffon described him as the "Best Goalkeeper in the World" at the time. To buttress the prowess of the English man, a review of the Champions League Round of 16 return leg match against Barcelona is vital after the goalkeeper who was nominated as the PFA Young Player of the Year in 2010, made a record 10 saves in addition to saving Lionel Messi's penalty attempt on the night, prompting the Argentine to describe him as a "Phenomenon" after the game. Hart's form has come under scrutiny of recent after his howlers towards the end of Manuel Pellegrini's ill-fated last season in the Premier League (2015/2016) and also in the Euro's against Wales and Iceland which cost the the team a place in the competition leading to the resignation of Three Lions manager Roy Hodgson at the end of the tournament in France, but this is not just peculiar with Hart as even the best goalkeepers (Oliver Kahn, Iker Casillas, David De Gea) have suffered with form loss even in their best periods.

At 29, Hart still has a lot to learn. The Englishman will maintain his spot as the Three Lions undisputed no.1 if he continues his fine form in Seria A. The move to Italy comes as a shock considering English players reluctance to move abroad, preferring the comfort of their country which has contributed to the poor form of the Three Lions in recent years. Torino have gained three points this season after losing 4-2 to Vincenzo Montella's AC Milan and beating Bologna 5-1 with striker Andre Belotti scoring a hatrick earning a call-up to the Azzurri's friendly and World Cup qualification .

Pep Guardiola might have succeeded in forcing out the English man but the loan move to Torino might end up a blessing in disguise for Hart if he makes the most of the move. For now , the Torino move is a win/win for the three parties as Hart gains game time, Torino acquire a quality world class goalkeeper and Manchester City sign a goalkeeper that suits their sweeping and possession based football style at the same time shifting Hart to a side that suits him.

let wait till the end of season before proclaiming him a hero or not ,hart is a good keeper thats for sure but his perfomance especially in euros really affected his reputation

Record shows that already. Keeping his record fine in italy is paramount though.
